We were pleased this month that our journalism program at the University of Hong Kong launched a new cooperative effort with ABC News in New York.
A team of students has been assembled to contribute stories from Asia for ABC News online and on-air. The first stories accepted included a feature on young investment bankers in Hong Kong relieving stress by joining 'fight clubs' where they organize championship boxing matches. Another feature from Beijing reports on Chinese authorities uncertainty about what to do with the famous 'Bird's Nest' 2008 Olympic Stadium. The stadium for now has been turned into a giant snow park for thousands of Chinese sledding enthusiasts.
